DESCRIPTION:Save the date for this amazing two-day community event on the Erie Canalway!\nEnjoy a two-day Accessible Adventures Extravaganza on June 15-16\, 2024\, especially inviting individuals and families living with disabilities to explore opportunities for recreation\, sports and tourism along the Erie Canalway. This festive event on the paths and in the waters of the historic Erie Canalway at our Inclusion Partner\, Erie Canal Boat Company (ECBC)\, invites attendees to try out adaptive kayaking and cycling equipment that is available throughout the canal season and register for First Mile and Canalway Challenge participation. \nA Community Access Wellness Fair will give guests access to additional organizations that invite people with disabilities to engage in accessible adventures like birding\, fishing\, pickleball\, trail exploration\, scouts\, adaptive and inclusive sports (such as wheelchair fencing\, wheelchair basketball\, sled hockey\, and quad rugby)\, inclusive community recreation center programming\, tourism along the Erie Canal\, and more. \nCelebrate the progress towards inclusive recreation and tourism being made in the Village of Fairport and other communities along the Canalway! \nPre-register and save time! \nQR Code for pre-registration: \n \nMany thanks for the generous support of the NYS Canal Corporation and Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor for making this event possible! \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nSpecial thanks to our June Inclusion in Action Sponsor: BoardSafe Docks\, who will be on site for the event! \n \nMany thanks to our local sponsor\, Insero\, for supporting our work for greater inclusion in recreation\, sports\, and tourism!
