DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening on the Erie Canal with our Inclusion Partner\, Erie Canal Boat Company! \nExplore options for inclusive kayaking and cycling along the Erie Canal! \nWhat to know: Erie Canal Boat Company has been working with RAA for over 8 years – instilling a culture of inclusion across their day to day operations! What this means: \n1. Adaptive and standard equipment are available 7 days a week!\n2. An adaptive kayak launch helps make entering and exiting the kayak even easier.\n3. A variety of styles of cycles are available – handcycles\, three-wheeled cycles\, tandems and more.\n4. Kayaking equipment like outriggers\, supportive seatbacks\, paddle pedestals add stability and support for more people \nThis Extravaganza event will introduce you and your family to kayaking and cycling options. You will have time to try out the cycles and take a quick paddle to see how the equipment works. We encourage family/friend groups to come together so you can LEARN together — and then come back TOGETHER throughout the summer! \nGreat for people generally ~6 years and up – equipment varies in size. While most cycles are youth-adult sizes\, we can show families other options that might work for their child. This event is designed for you to come see what is here and give it a try\, and also learn about more options! \nThis is not a ‘program’ – this is a way of inclusive business!
