Get Outside with Inclusive Birding!

April 13, 2023 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Free
Flyer with three people standing at birding scopes looking out over a field, and several people moving along a birding path, one in a manual wheelchair being pushed by someone.
Join us for an evening of family-friendly, inclusive birding at Braddock Bay Park!
Our Inclusion Partners NYS DEC Region 8 and Genesee Valley Audubon Society will join with Braddock Bay Raptor Research and other local birding groups to host a birding workshop.
Guests, whether first-timers or long-timers, will be guided by experienced birders during Spring Migration, to look for, listen for, and learn about the variety of birds that come through our area, or return to the area for the season.
Several options for viewing birds will be available to try out – and bring your own viewing tools if you have them! Binoculars, monoculars, harnesses, scopes, and more!
We will work out of the Lodge and along the paths to the viewing dock and platform – using all of our senses to experience Spring and the return of our winged friends!
This is great for families and friends to learn about birding together!
