Sled Hockey Try It at ROC Holiday Village

Join us for a festive couple of hours at ROC Holiday Village!

Rochester Sled Hawks will host an OUTDOOR Try It Clinic on the rink during the ROC Holiday Village festivities.

We bring all the sleds and gear. You bring your family and friends! You will be welcomed and provided with friendly support from our Rochester Sled Hawks players and our wonderful staff and volunteers!

This family fun event is open to all ages and people with and without disabilities! And it’s free to attend!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

The Holiday Village cordons off a section of the large outdoor ice rink for our sled hockey event. On-lookers have space to observe along the perimeter of the ice rink. There are a few benches, but not many. You are welcome to bring a chair to watch from! The Sled Hawks will be already on the ice to show you how to skate in the sled, do a few demonstrations of what the game would look like, and you’ll have a chance to zip around after pucks and try out your game-winning puck shots! We’ll rotate people on and off the ice throughout the event, allowing each guest to have a bit of time trying it out.

Even if you don’t skate, it’s fun to be there and cheer on the crowd! Join us!
