Stony Point Art Studio Offers Inclusive Art Exploration

We are excited for our Inclusion Partner, Stony Point Art Studio, for the Grand Opening of their east side location in Fairport, NY!

Stony Point Art Studio is proud to expand their inclusive art offerings with the opening of an accessible and welcoming space in Fairport. Local artist and owner, Jeannine Pelusio, started working with Rochester Accessible Adventures in 2024 through the Accessibility Education Program with NY Power Authority and NYS Canal Corporation’s On the Canals projects.

The Studio has been designed with intentional thought for physical accessibility, as well as inclusive elements like lighting, moveable walls, and other elements. Jeannine will continue to expand the studio’s accessibility features as she invites all levels of artists and those looking to discover their creative self. This new site builds upon the Studio’s long-time art programming which includes classes on the west side of Rochester.

This new location at 114 N. Main Street in Fairport will serve as a vibrant hub for artistic expression, offering a variety of classes tailored for children, adults, and homeschoolers. In addition, it is a gallery space for local artists to showcase their work, providing a platform to share their talents with the community. The gallery will host regular local artist exhibits, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant arts scene of the surrounding areas.

The new studio aims to create an inclusive and accessible environment where individuals of all ages and abilities can discover their artistic talents and participate in the arts with a focus on community. Stony Point Art Studio will offer a variety of classes that accommodate various learning styles and abilities, reinforcing the belief that creativity knows no limits.

“The studio’s vision is that art can be accessible to all, and we are committed to breaking down barriers that prevent people from exploring their artistic side,” said Jeannine Pelusio of Stony Point Art Studio. “Our goal is to cultivate a welcoming environment where creativity flourishes, and everyone feels inspired to learn, create, and connect, while also offering a flexible space that is accessible and accommodating.”

So, it’s time to explore your creative self!  Sign up for a workshop or class with Stony Point Art Studio!
