We spent the morning with Good Day Rochester’s Ashley Doerzbacher as she learned about the work RAA has been doing with a local for-profit kayaking and cycling rental business, Erie Canal Boat Company (ECBC). From dawn to mid morning, we invited Ashley to try out the new way of business – where inclusion is part of ECBC’s everyday operations.

Explore the fleet of standard and adaptive cycles available for rental, try out the unique waterfront access options for kayaking, as well as standard and adaptive equipment options now available. This kind of business model means people with and without disabiltiies can enjoy the historic Erie Canalway TOGETHER, any time the business is open.
