RAA on Good Day Rochester: Inclusion Ambassadors

October 2, 2020

Rochester Accessible Adventures joins Good Day Rochester’s Michael Schwartz to highlight a community effort to train 2,020 Inclusion Ambassadors! Watch this very fun morning, starting before dawn, as local youth inclusion ambassadors demonstrate inclusive kayaking and cycling and talk about an inclusion training RAA is promoting.

Developed by SUNY Cortland’s Inclusive Recreation Resource Center (IRRC), the Inclusion Ambassador Training is a perfect, easy-to-use, and free online training tool that has been developed with middle-schoolers in mind – and works wonderfully for adults, too! Perfect for families, scout groups, neighborhoods, book groups, friends, teachers, leaders…EVERYONE!

RAA has opened a portal that allows people to register to receive a personal link to the training — and once you complete it, you receive a Certificate of Completion and can access the tools and resources forever.

Check out the Inclusion Ambassadors section of our website or contact us for more information! RAA Inclusion Specialists are available to facilitate a training with you group, too!
