Youth Athletes Face Off In Inclusive Basketball Game

Youth athletes from Rochester and Buffalo faced in a regional inclusive wheelchair basketball game as the season closed on this first-ever Thruway Classic! This four-game series sent The Rochester Rockets and the Buffalo Rims back and forth across I-90, with players with and without disabilities practicing weekly in between games. This interview with 13 WHAM highlights a Rockets player, Redeat Shumaker, and Coach Ryan Hohensee.
