Inclusive Kayak Clinic Grand Opening – Churchville

Join us for a fun summer evening with food, vendors, and resources for the whole community!

What to expect:
Kayak Clinic held with Rochester Accessible Adventures, Vendors, Food Trucks, Community Activities & Resources

The adapted BoardSafe kayak launch is a wonderful new amenity at this Monroe County Park. Its trough provides a stable entry/exit platform for you. Overhead bars and straps enable you to maneuver yourself more easily in and out of the kayak. Works for single kayaks and tandems.

This event will let you try out the new launch and also try out some adaptive kayak equipment options that could make your explorations feel better and more stable: supportive seatbacks, optional side supports, outriggers, hand/grip options, and a paddle pedestal that can take the fatigue or strain off your shoulders and also let you focus on paddling rather than holding the paddle up. These are GREAT options for a variety of potential or going-out-again paddlers!
