Giving the gift of a Lifetime

Doug Westerdahl, long-time advocate and supporter for people with disabilities staying active in the community, has made a personal donation of $10,000 to support RAA’s work to transform recreation businesses to include people with disabilities. Watch the segment with Norma Holland to hear more.  When you ask him why, Doug’s answer reveals the need in our community for inclusive recreation and sports opportunities.  His decision to give personally, rather than through his company, Monroe Wheelchair, sends a clear message that he values RAA’s mission and ability to accomplish what is needed more than ever in our community:  A STRONGER AND HEALTHIER community made possible by INCLUDING people with disabilities alongside those without disabilities. When we RAA-ise the Bar — and set a high standard for what Inclusion means in recreation — we give families the ability to participate with each other, and not leave anyone behind.  That’s when we are truly building a lifetime of experiences and memories.

We invite YOU to  make a decision to give a gift that impacts EVERYONE!  Join our Fall Campaign and help us reach our goal of $40,000!

Connect with our Donate page on our website or contact us today to arrange the best way for YOU to help transform our community!

With great thanks!
